We had an awesome server, I don't know how she took care of all her tables, helped other servers with thier tables in clean up and was so attentive to us and this all done with a packed restaurant with people waiting. I'm definitely pleased but blessed to have such great service. The food was home cooking at its best, very good!!!

Had breakfast here today early Sunday. Seated in a nice big deep booth. Coffee an sweet tea we're both very good. Western omelet was delicious, plenty of cheese an peppers. The potatos that came as a side should be a main really, there loaded with bacon an amazing. Wife's bacon an eggs she shared with baby we're perfect, good biscuits. The pancakes themselves we had without any syrup they were so good. We plan to come back asap.

I came here a lot when I was younger. The renovation turned out nice. It was busy for Father's Day but our wait was not long at all. Service was prompt and good, food did not take long at all. Overall enjoyable experience.

Such a wonderful place to stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Friendly atmosphere with delicious food. We visit here often and are always pleased! Country fried steak with gravy and fried okra are just fantastic!

First time here in over 20 years! The renovations are beautiful. The place is much larger than it appears from the outside. The food, service and atmosphere were outstanding! We’ll be back!

Here for two weeks (moving here in the next few months) and we have been to The Colonial three times! Located in Rustburg right off of the 29. Sooo delicious!! Twice for breakfast and once for dinner (we split the burger-forgot to get pics but definitely one of the best burgers I’ve ever had). This place is a true gem. The food and service are top notch! Being from out of town, we were really surprised at how reasonable the prices are. It’s like going back in time (Price wise. Service wise. Quality wise). The location happened to be right down the road from where we are staying. And I’m so glad we decided to stop in! Puctured here are the single biscuit and gravy with a side of two scrambled eggs for 6 amd The Colonial Breakfast Special for 8.

This place is a reminder how much someone cares about their place. I really love their building, their dining room, the booths, the tables and the decor. What beautiful paintings they have on the walls. The simple menus are awesome. We ate breakfast here. It is the first time I have seen salmon cakes for breakfast. They are the best salmon cakes I have ever had. Very pleasant people that serve you. What a great start to our day.

This has to be one of the best restaurants in Virginia!!! Please see the pics. The service was incredible! The food was incredible! The atmosphere was incredible! Angie, our server, was friendly and very attentive. The service was fast and the restaurant was very clean. They also have a very well stocked, classy bar. The only drawback is that they are an hour away from our house or the would be our every Saturday thing as well as the occasional stop for drinks after work. We will definitely be back and are excited about our next trip!
